Born 1947 in Glasgow, Joe was given his first guitar at twelve years old, he soon moved on to bass guitar with his local band and at age nineteen he turned professional with Glasgow band 'Dream Police' relocating to London, after five successful years recording and touring throughout Europe, Dream Police disbanded. Joe then accepted an invite to Join 'Marsha Hunt's 22', two years later he began session and touring work with bands including Marmalade, Tremeloes, Mac & Katie Kissoon. During this time he continued writing songs and these years of experience can be heard on his first solo album 'MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE' . featuring renowned musicians and the excellent production of Deep Purple's Roger Glover.
